About the Author of the Guides

Mark Allen’s inspiration and support is Karen, his wife of 24 years. They have three lovable kids, Katie, Jackie and Colton, one honorable son-in-law serving in the Marines, Russ, and an adorable new granddaughter, Raegan. Mark graduated with High Honors from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters of Theology in Old Testament. For 16 years he served as a church planter and pastor in Richmond, Virginia. During his pastorate he earned a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Renewal in the Family of God from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Presently, the Allens reside in Mishawaka, Indiana where Mark is pursuing a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from the University of Notre Dame.
