The Purpose of the Guides

Four purposes of What I Want My Kids to Learn from the Bible:

To help children build a strong relationship with Jesus Christ through understanding the theology of each book of the Bible and by learning the skill of applying and integrating the Bible into their everyday lives.
To aid parents in their responsibility to bring their children up in the instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
To help parents to build a relationship with their children around God and his Word and to help start a biblical and theological dialogue between parents and children that will last a lifetime.
To help parents to deepen their own understanding of the God of the Bible and to develop their personal relationship with him through Jesus Christ.
